The Roswell, New Mexico, UFO crash of 1947 was the result of -- here it comes, wait for it -- top secret Nazi technology. No alien spacecraft, no alien bodies, but an aircraft called the "Bell" (depicted above from a 2008 Discovery Channel documentary). hitler At least that's what a new German film seems to suggest, according to OpenMinds.tv. To be sure, it's questionable what actually happened in the outskirts of that small town 67 years ago. But it's also questionable if this film will ever see the light of day. At least, here's the most truthful thing known about the incident: Something came out of the sky in July 1947 and crashed on a ranch near Roswell. But what that "something" was has become a nearly 70-year-old legend. Everything from extraterrestrial spacecraft to weather balloon to military high altitude device for spying on Soviet nuclear testing has been offered for the identity of the crashed object. And now, the film, supposedly called "UFOs and the Third Reich," is promoting another theory: A 10-foot-wide, 12-foot-high, anti-gravity, bell-shaped craft, combining rocket and helicopter technology, created by Nazi Germany, fell into the hands of the U.S. in 1943, who further developed the project. An alleged test of the Bell resulted in its crash, which became the event that started the Roswell UFO saga. Stories about the Nazi Bell have cropped up in the UFO literature for many years, including Discovery Channel's 2008 "Nazi UFO Conspiracy."READ MORE -http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/30/roswell-ufo-secret-nazi-aircraft_n_6037164.html
Someone has found a five-mile-wide black disc hovering over the ocean in a NASA photograph.
Our friends at UFO Sightings Daily, a blog somehow able to deliver 'MIND BLOWING!' content on the greatest conspiracies in human history once every 24 hours, published news of the find on Thursday.
The disc was discovered in a picture taken November 2013, the original (much darker) version of which is still available on NASA's website.
The website says that while the UFO appears to be above the ocean, it's actually hiding underneath it - though not very well, clearly.

A 'UFO' has been built to mark the spot where an alleged landing took place in one of the UK's biggest UFO mysteries.
In December 1980, there were reports of phenomena in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk near a United States Air Force base. The Forestry Commission has created a metal interpretation of a UFO to add to its trail which commemorates the alleged sightings. The commission said the sculpture was "impartial" and did not seek to answer the mystery.-READ MORE-http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-29280298
Thousands of miles from suspected alien crash sites, the people of Portsmouth have good reason to consider themselves safe from the prying eyes of extra-terrestrials.
But images shared by residents of what appears to be a UFO earlier this week suggest otherwise.
Hovering ominously in the dusk sky, the dark grey, disc-like object has sparked mystery among sceptics and space enthusiasts alike.
Mystery: Residents were baffled by the sighting of a grey disc-shaped UFO in Portsmouth on Tuesday night
And as weather experts rule out the possibility that the object was a cloud, the town has been left wondering just exactly what it was flying over its homes on Tuesday evening.
Johnny Blackwell from Southsea said: 'I don’t believe in UFOs, but when I saw this I didn’t know what it was.
'It didn't look like a cloud, and it was moving very fast.
'It was a grey, disc-like shape, which I know sounds like a stereotypical UFO, but that’s what it looked-READ MORE -http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2762399/The-truth-Portsmouth-Silver-disc-like-UFO-spotted-moving-city.html

The man who taped the event -- an alleged military combat instructor who prefers to remain anonymous -- reported it in August to MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, where it's listed as case #58923 and is still under investigation. Here is part of the witness description as reported to MUFON:
I was looking through [night vision] goggles and noticed a 'plane' coming toward me from the north, heading south. It was relatively low, 5,000 feet or a little less. I'm pretty good at estimating distances, I'm an experienced skydiver and long-distance shooter. I thought it was a little weird that I wasn't hearing it coming toward me, so I started recording on the PVS-14 [night vision monocular]. As I'm watching it, I notice that as it's passing stars, I could see stars through the craft! I saw stars through the 'fuselage' of the craft! Later, I confirmed this when I reviewed the video.

UFO and government secrecy researcher John Greenewald has been petitioning to get the National Security Agency (NSA) UFO files that were released in the 90s further declassified. When they were released, after a legal battle, much of the information was redacted. There are large swaths of information that have been blacked out or covered with white out. However, the NSA recently told Greenewald they could not find even one original of the hundreds of pages UFO files. Greenewald received this information in response to a request for a Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) of the NSA’s UFO files. MDRs require that the agency re-review previously released redacted files to unredact information that is now declassified. This is a similar process that was used to reveal the name of Area 51 in CIA documents last year. The MDR was fulfilled for an affidavit related to the lawsuit asking the NSA to release its UFO files in 1980, called the Yeates affidavit. As for the rest, the NSA writes, “With the exception of the enclosed document, we cannot locate unredacted copies or the original documents that were previously reviewed and released to the public.” In the late 70s, the Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS), headed by lawyer Peter Gersten, sought to get UFO files from several government agencies released using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The NSA refused to release their files, so CAUS sued. The NSA had a large amount of UFO files, not necessarily because they were investigating UFOs, but-read more

The last thing you’d think of when you hear the name Gram Parsons — the heartbreakingly sensitive singer-songwriter who died aged 26 in 1973 — is science fiction. But between late 1969 and early 1970, towards the close of his two-album career as leader of the Flying Burrito Brothers, Parsons was making his acting debut in a mind-boggling fantasy project that predated Star Wars by almost a decade. Called Saturation 70, the film was the brainchild of an American writer-director named Tony Foutz, the son of a Walt Disney company executive and a friend to both Parsons and the Rolling Stones. The film was shot (but never completed) at a 1969 UFO convention at Giant Rock, near Joshua Tree in the Mojave desert, and in Los Angeles. It tapped into the spectrum of esoteric interests and outlandish ideas — aliens, psychedelics, time travel— of the late 60s counterculture. “The whole experience of making the film was like a technological tribal throw-down, with an energy buzz off the Richter scale,” Foutz says now. “It took on a life of its own.”READ MORE
READ MOREUFO researchers say UFO sightings are increasing in the state of Queensland in Australia. Recent sightings have included photos and video. UFO Research Queensland President Sheryl Gottschall told the Brisbane Times there has been a spike in reports over the last few months. She says, “We get about 100 calls a year and across Australia all up the UFO research groups get up to 800. That’s just the reported sightings – a lot go unreported.” Another representative from the Queensland UFO group agrees. In a radio interview with 4BC, Tino Pezzimenti says, “Only about 5% of reports or sightings actually get reported, so you can imagine. We get a couple hundred a year. That’s only probably 5% of people that actually find their way to reporting something to us.”
When UFOs fly over a metropolitan area known as "Space City," it's safe to assume explanations for the sightings also will fly. During an Aug. 11 rain storm in Houston, some odd lights were photographed above the city that's home to the Johnson Space Center, headquarters of NASA's Mission Control. Groups of aerial lights were seen maneuvering and changing their configurations in the sky, while others were photographed in a distinct circular pattern. PAUL Dean, 35, from Nunawading, is a senior researcher with Victorian UFO Action, a group dedicated to investigating UFO sightings. He has spent decades searching for the truth about reports of unidentified flying objects.
As told to SARAH MARINOS, this is a SnapShot glimpse into Paul’s extraordinary life: FROM as far back as I can remember I was always technically and scientifically minded. As a kid growing up in the eastern suburbs, I enjoyed learning about physics, astronomy and aviation. But when I was 13 a close family member told me something that triggered my lifelong interest in UFOs. He told me about a sighting near Shepparton in 1975. He was 25 years old then and in the army and as he was driving alone one night he saw a massive white light through the trees ahead. It looked like a train headlight but as the light rose higher into the sky he thought instead that there must be something like a grain silo ahead with a bright white light on top. As the light rose even higher in the sky he thought it had to be a helicopter with a searchlight, but there was no sound of rotors turning.-READ MORE-http://www.news.com.au/national/victoria/melbourne-researcher-paul-dean-has-spent-decades-searching-for-the-truth-about-reported-ufo-sightings/story-fnii5sms-1227040173042
Sky gazers in the Lone Star State are still scratching their heads as they look for an explanation behind mysterious sets of lights photographed earlier this month over the city of Houston. Images taken on August 11 during a rain storm and posted to social media have had some Texans for nearly two weeks now trying to identify what select skeptics say is an unidentified flying object, or UFO. The pictures of what looks like a glowing circular object in the sky over Houston were such a hit on the internet that a local NBC affiliate reached out to experts earlier this month in hopes of taking the “U” out of “UFO.” But even after approaching the vice president for astronomy at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the station still wasn’t able to identify to mysterious sighting.-READ MORE-http://rt.com/usa/183752-houston-texas-ufo-sighting/
Buzz Aldrin, the second man to set foot on the moon, said he glimpsed an unidentified flying object during the Apollo 11 flight.
The astronaut also said the first humans to set foot on Mars should never return to earth during a Reddit “ask me anything” question and answer session.
Mr Aldrin, 84, however was reluctant to described the sighting as an extraterrestrial craft, even though he does believe there are other life forms in space.
“I observed a light out the window that appeared to be moving alongside us,” he said.READ MORE

On a blisteringly hot afternoon this month, an unusual gathering took place in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso in the west African country of Burkina Faso. Shaded by red and green striped canopies, a couple of hundred people stood in reverential silence around a laptop. On screen, a man with a carefully clipped beard, dressed head-to-toe in white, addressed them via Skype from Japan. The speaker was a spiritual leader known as Rael, the founder of one of the world's largest UFO sects, and he was online to announce the arrival of the first clitoral repair hospital in Africa. Rael preaches that humans were created by extraterrestrials to enjoy untrammelled sexual pleasure – a belief that has led the group to campaign against female genital mutilation (FGM), and to advocate surgery to improve sexual feeling to FGM victims.read more
