Earth-sized UFO spotted: Nasa images show alien mothership blasting out of the Sun [VIDEO]

A massive alien mothership has apparently been spotted blasting out of the sun in new Nasa solar images.

Reportedly, the alleged UFO is as big, if not bigger, than the Earth itself, according to UFO researcher Scott Waring - editor of UFO Sightings Daily - who made the discovery.

"Thanks to NASA and its sun-watching satellite, you don't have to be a professional astronomer to view high-quality images of the sun and its constant activity. Waring spotted the UFO in these images by poring through images on the site Helioviewer.org, which makes imagery acquired by the NASA satellite available online," states an Inquisitr report.

The site also allows users to make their own videos of solar activity, which is how Waring created the video below, analysing the alleged UFO images.

"Was looking at the Helioviewer online and noticed this giant triangle UFO leaving our sun," Waring says on his UFO Sightings Daily blog. "It [sic] exit caused a massive solar explosion. I say in the video that the UFO is moon size, but in the lower left corner is the earths size...which is smaller than this mothership."

According to Before It's News, the video "is very detailed and leaves very little doubt as to what you are seeing."

UFO 1966 – THE LAKE TIORATI UFO

Twas the week before Christmas in 1966, when twenty-three-year old Vincent and two pals decided to do a little winter fishing. The winter weather was rather temperate for December so they decided to do their fishing at a spot along the Hudson River, about 40 miles north of New York City. To the east of them, on the shore of the Hudson, was the Indian Point Nuclear Power Station. On the western shore of Hudson was Harriman State Park. UFO claim leads to investigation

An extraterrestrial investigator is looking into UFO sighting claims in Northumberland – and he is keen to hear from anyone else who may have seen the strange object. Karl Webb, a British Field Investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (Mufon), contacted the Gazette last week, as part of his attempts to substantiate the report. The object, which was said to be moving at a steady speed, allegedly passed over the Hadston area and went towards Amble one evening last month. Mr Webb said: “I am currently dealing with a sighting that took place at around 7pm to 7.30pm on Saturday, November 22. “The main witness to the sighting reported it to us and as part of our ongoing investigation we need to ascertain or indeed negate the possibility that the sighting of this object was witnessed by others and that it is indeed genuine with substance. “From the information we have so far in terms of size, distance and direction we believe that the object could well have been seen travelling in a south to north direction, passing over the Hadston area going towards Amble on the coast at a steady speed.” Mr Webb admitted that some people may take the nature of his work with an element of cynicism, but said that his request for witnesses is not a spoof. He then added: “With regard to any photos or video, all I can say at this juncture is there is no such corroboratory evidence that I am aware of at this stage of my investigation. “I am unable to reveal my witness to the events due to Mufon’s obligation to protect them. I would hope that my investigation may reveal further sources and subsequently give some corroboration to the sighting.” He has urged anyone who may have seen the object to contact him by emailing kw webbo64@blueyonder.co.uk He said: “Often with these types of things, people don’t really know who to contact and they often dismiss it or feel awkward due to the stigma attached. In that regard all persons contacting us are treated with total anonymity as a default position.” The Mutual UFO Network is an American-based non-profit organization that investigates cases of alleged UFO sightings. It is one of the oldest and largest civilian UFO-investigative organizations in the United States. A new video shows a UFO flying near Popocatépetl in central Mexico. Popocatépetl is an active volcano that erupted as recently as 2013. Several UFOs have been reported near the volcano in recent years. Witnesses have recorded mysterious aerial objects on video. And some of these videos have allegedly shown UFOs entering the volcano. The latest Popocatépetl UFO video was uploaded to YouTube on November 23. Retired airline captain reflects on UFO photo

A man seemingly photographed three UFOs in the sky recently over the Lincolnshire city of Lincoln in England. Paul Howard, a retired airline captain, reportedly snapped the photo because the sunset was particularly beautiful that day. He took the photo, but did not notice the three unusual objects that appear in the photo until he reviewed it later. National UFO Alert: Sighting reports down with Maine ranked highest

Overall UFO sighting reports were down 30 percent in November 2014 compared to the previous 10 months of reports. Maine was the high reporting state by population with 3.01 sightings per million population and registering as a UFO Alert 2, according to witness reporting statistics released December 1, 2014, from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Nevada was the next highest reporting level by population – earning a UFO Alert 3. There were 2.54 sightings per million population in Nevada last month. West Virginia was ranked a UFO Alert 4 with 2.16 sightings per million population. All other states received less than 2 sightings per million population and were ranked a UFO Alert 5. As the highest reporting state per million residents, Maine received 4 actual reports. The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 4.01 or higher reports per million residents are rated an Alert 1; 3.01 – 4.0 reports are an Alert 2; 2.51 – 3.0 are an Alert 3; 2.01 – 2.5 are an Alert 4; and those states with 2.0 or lower are rated an Alert 5. The UFO Alert Rating System has previously only reported on the raw numbers by state to rate each state. Beginning October 2014, the rating will change to rank states by population. Disregarding populations, the top reporting states for November 2014 with 16 or more reports were: California, 44; Pennsylvania, 17; and Texas, 16. During the 10-month period January 1 to October 31, 2014, MUFON received an average of 764 reports per month worldwide. Cases reported during November totaled 542 – about a 30 percent drop from the average. Prior to November, July was the high reporting month with 1,003 cases; and February was the low with 512 cases. The sphere remains the most-reported UFO shape with 88 November cases; down from 153 October cases; 140 September cases, 179 August cases; 216 July cases; 156 June cases; 129 May cases; 150 April cases, 131 March cases, 91 February cases; and 240 January cases. Other shape reports include: Disc, 57; Triangle, 56; Unknown, 45; Other, 42; Star-Like, 40; Circle, 34; Oval, 22; Cylinder, 20; Boomerang, 20; Fireball, 20; N/A, 18; Square-Rectangular, 14; Cigar, 13; Diamond, 8; Egg, 8; Flash, 8; Bullet-Missile, 6; Blimp, 5; Chevron, 4; Cone, 4; Saturn-like, 3; Teardrop, 3; and Cross, 2. The object’s distance from the witness includes: Less than 100 feet, 69 cases; 101 to 500 feet, 85 cases; 501 feet to one mile, 128 cases; over one mile, 127 cases; unknown, 164; and no value stated, 18. In addition, there were “25 landings, hoverings or takeoffs reported and 1 entity observed.” The most interesting UFO reports do not necessarily come from high reporting states – but those states with higher numbers do account for some of the most interesting evidence to study. Dan Aykroyd, longtime paranormal and UFO enthusiast, has made an endorsement video for the Mutual UFO Network’s (MUFON) Kickstarter campaign. According to figures released under the Official Information Act by the Civil Aviation Authority, no UFO, mystery, or otherwise unknown objects have been reported over Southland air space, including Queenstown Lakes District, Stewart Island, the Catlins area, and Fiordland, between January 1990 and September 2014. Further to that, only three sightings in the entire South Island have been reported to CAA during that time frame. One at Mt Richmond, Marlborough, on May 20, 2004, when it was reported three red, white, and green lights were spotted on a stationary object, though nothing showed up on radar. Another on August 8, 2012, also in Marlborough, where the informant saw a fast-moving UFO heading north to south over the coast. Apparently, the object had a very bright white light at the front. The most recent was in Christchurch only July 5, 2014, when an unidentified object was reported, CAA said. So, either Marlborough has something more to offer extra terrestrial and unexplained phenomena than Southland, or Southern visitors are simply better at flying under the radar. Pun totally intended. New Zealand UFO research group UFOCUS tells a slightly more eventful story, with 15 listed UFO sightings this year alone. Again, mysteriously, these were reported from nearly every other region in New Zealand except Southland - aside from one in Queenstown when an Australian film crew spotted some fast moving objects in May. But according to a UFO blog, one picture might just be cause for some extra speculation since it features an "alien skull" on the Red Planet. Images of the so-called skull, some of which have been digitally altered to prove the specifics, were posted by UFO Sightings Daily on Wednesday. Originally, the images were captured by NASA's Mars Spirit rover at the Gusev Crater. While most critics will argue that the structure in the image is most likely a rock which somewhat appears to look like a skull in the Martian soil, the blog claims otherwise, even going as far as digitally adding "teeth and [a] lower nostril bone" to show how the specifics could fit in, Epoch Times reported. "Right away this object in the photo just grabs you. An alien skull with the jaw bone missing or buried below it," the blog posted on Wednesday. "You can make out the nasal cavity and the two eye sockets without any trouble. You can even make out the ridge above the eye sockets." "It's hard to believe that the rover just passes on by without a second look, but hey, they are not there to discover life, but actually there to distract humanity and show an effort. This way...satisfying human curiosity. Are you...satisfied? I'm not." The image, which fails to show the other side of the halfway buried object, has been around since 2010. It was first uploaded by a YouTube user, who added his own digital features later on in a video to make it look like a skull for comparative purposes. However, observers still remain skeptical. Air Force investigates ‘crashed UFO’ in Arizona desert

The UFO was actually a model created for the boot camp for use training the 25 field investigators who signed up.

According to MUFON International Director David MacDonald, the entire class and instructors had not yet assembled at the “crash site,” but STAR Team Deputy Director Chuck Modlin and Photo Analyst Marc D’Antonio were at the site.

“They first noticed a private pilot coming by,” MacDonald said. “A glint of the UFO’s metallic color probably caught the pilot’s eye. You could see his wings tip up and he came around for a closer look.”

From the ground location investigators realized the UFO model had been seen, but did not expect what happened next.

“About 20 minutes later,” MacDonald said, “two F16s came over at a low pass – obviously checking out the crash site. Luke Air Force Base is nearby so we suspect they were scrambled from there. We’re also thinking the pilot of that private plane must have radioed this in.”

But aerial observation was not over.

“Another 20 minutes later a sheriff’s department helicopter came over and dropped down to about 50 feet over the crashed saucer to take a good, close look.”

MUFON management took the event humorously.

“If you think the federal government does not investigate UFOs – think twice,” said Jan C. Spiders blamed for mass UFO sighting

</ Players and fans at a football (soccer) match were shocked and perplexed when a UFO moved slowly over the stadium.

This incident occurred back on October 27, 1954 in Florence, Italy. Ten thousand fans were packed into the Stadio Artemi Franchi for the match. Then, just after half time, the crowd fell silent as the unidentified object appeared over the stadium. Even the players stopped and gazed at the unusual aerial object.

One of those players, Ardico Magnini, recalls, “It was something that looked like an egg that was moving slowly, slowly, slowly. Everyone was looking up and also there was some glitter coming down from the sky, silver glitter.” He continues, “We were astonished we had never seen anything like it before. We were absolutely shocked.”

Other witnesses describe seeing multiple cigar-shaped UFOs that were “moving very fast and then they just stopped.”

“At the time the newspapers spoke of aliens from Mars,” says Roberto Pinotti, president of Italy’s National UFO Centre. “Of course now we know that is not so – but we may conclude that it was an intelligent phenomenon, a technological phenomenon and a phenomenon that cannot be linked with anything we know on Earth.”

The material witnesses saw falling from the sky when the UFO(s) were present is a strange sticky substance that has been reported in other UFO cases, and is most often referred to as “angel hair.” According to the BBC, multiple witnesses collected samples of this material and delivered it to the Institute of Chemical Analysis at the University of Florence. Spectrographic analysis revealed that it contained boron, silicon, calcium, and magnesium. Aside from its composition, researchers were unable to determine what it was.

But one person claims he can explain this “angel hair” stuff and the 1954 UFO sighting with one word: spiders.

James McGaha, astronomer and director of the Grasslands Observatory in Tucson, Arizona, comments, “When I looked at this case originally I thought perhaps it was a fireball, a very bright meteor breaking up in the atmosphere. They can be cigar-shaped with pieces breaking off. But it became fairly apparent that this was actually caused by young spiders spinning webs, very, very thin webs.” He explains that migrating spiders “use these webs as sails and they link together and you get a big glob of this stuff in the sky and the spiders ride on this to move between locations.”

McGaha is a noted skeptic who relishes the opportunity to explain away any and all UFO sightings, because, after all, the “UFO phenomenon is nothing but myth, magic and superstition,” according to him.

Pinotti disagrees with the spider theory for a variety of reasons. He points to the analysis done on the “angel hair.” The BBC points out, “Spider silk is a protein – an organic compound containing nitrogen, calcium, hydrogen and oxygen – not the elements reportedly found in the samples.” Philip Ball, a science writer and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, agrees that the spider theory is thin. “Magnesium and calcium are fairly common elements in living bodies, boron and silicon much less so – but if these were the main elements that the white fluff contained, it doesn’t sound to me as though they’d come from spiders,” he explains.

Oh. And then there were the 10,000 witnesses who watched the UFO(s) “moving very fast and then they just stopped.”

It’s unlikely that this sixty-year-old mass UFO sighting mystery will ever be definitively solved. And, based on witness testimony and scientific analysis, it’s also unlikely that spiders are a realistic possibility.

This terrifying, greenish UFO appeared hovering over Montréal last week, right in the middle of an evening newscast. It appeared to change shape and plunge to earth. Now there are reports of the same "mysterious ball" cropping up in Lima, Peru. What is this thing, and what is it doing?

The UFO was greenish and changed shape. Sometimes it resembled a saucer, and at other moments it had an aspect similar to a "boomerang". The witness thought she was seeing the maneuvers of a remotely guided airplane, but it had no intermittent lighting. Furthermore, a remotely-controlled airplane must have anti-collision lights, by law.

Two days earlier, during a live broadcast by TVA News, a Canadian network, a mysterious greenish object similar to this one appeared behind reporter Colette Provencher. Could it be the same object?

You be the judge. Here's the Lima UFO, in the video below.I'm going to say it's the same object, because it just makes sense that you'd want to hop from Montréal to Lima, especially if you like good food and Romance languages. I mean, if this UFO was traveling as fast as I suspect it can, its pilots could have had yummy crepes in the morning and delicious ceviche in the evening. My point is that you just can't argue with logic.

A mysterious flash of light lit up the sky in northern Brazil, turning the darkness a whole host of colours late in the evening

This is the moment a mysterious flash of light turned night into day in northern Brazil.

Captured on camera at around 10.20pm last night, an unidentified object can be seen throwing out bursts of intense blue, pink, purple and red light.

The phenomenon, in Brazil's Recife region, saw the night's sky illuminated brightly for a number of seconds, before residents were plunged into darkness once again.

Those woken by the blast of light quickly took to social media to discuss what they had seen, with #Meteoro and #Recife trending.

Brazilian media said some had compared the sight to the sun rising, while others believed it had been a flash of lightning.

But experts believe the spectacular show was more likely to have been caused by a meteor falling from a meteor shower.

Towards the end of this month, a trail of the cosmic dust left in the wake of Halley's Comet could be visible to the naked eye.
