One local, who did not want to be named, told the Metro: "It fell during the afternoon. I tried to inquire if aeroplanes flew over before, but no straight answer. It happened two weekends in a row.

"Me and a couple of friends sent it to be analysed – and the weirdest things happened. It reacts to UV light. It comes alive."

"It ascended a flight path over my house and was completely out of view within three minutes. UFO engulfs Washington witness in white light

A Randle, WA, witness reported watching a disc-shaped UFO hovering under 500 feet and just 1,500 feet away that was first noticed when the object projected a light to the ground level, according to testimony in Case 61695 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. Dan Aykroyd endorses UFO Kickstarter campaign

Dan Aykroyd, longtime paranormal and UFO enthusiast, has made an endorsement video for the Mutual UFO Network’s (MUFON) Kickstarter campaign. Aykroyd’s work in TV and film is legendary, and he is a major UFO buff. The extent of his interested was demonstrated in the 2012 documentary Dan Aykroyd Unplugged on UFOs. It is 2 hours of Aykroyd talking about UFOs, which may sound boring to some, but I loved it. His level of knowledge on the history of the phenomena is remarkable. He shows he is at par with some of the top researchers in the field. A video released recently the MUFON (seen above) shows he is still keeping up with the topic. In the video, he is endorsing MUFON’s Kickstater campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise $78,000 to remake their website and UFO database. The plan is to make the website and reporting interface more user friendly for researchers and people in the general public who wish to report their personal UFO sighting. UFO no go in south

If ET ever came to Southland, he phoned home so quickly no one ever spotted him. According to figures released under the Official Information Act by the Civil Aviation Authority, no UFO, mystery, or otherwise unknown objects have been reported over Southland air space, including Queenstown Lakes District, Stewart Island, the Catlins area, and Fiordland, between January 1990 and September 2014. Further to that, only three sightings in the entire South Island have been reported to CAA during that time frame. One at Mt Richmond, Marlborough, on May 20, 2004, when it was reported three red, white, and green lights were spotted on a stationary object, though nothing showed up on radar. Another on August 8, 2012, also in Marlborough, where the informant saw a fast-moving UFO heading north to south over the coast. Apparently, the object had a very bright white light at the front. The most recent was in Christchurch only July 5, 2014, when an unidentified object was reported, CAA said. So, either Marlborough has something more to offer extra terrestrial and unexplained phenomena than Southland, or Southern visitors are simply better at flying under the radar. Pun totally intended. New Zealand UFO research group UFOCUS tells a slightly more eventful story, with 15 listed UFO sightings this year alone. Again, mysteriously, these were reported from nearly every other region in New Zealand except Southland - aside from one in Queenstown when an Australian film crew spotted some fast moving objects in May. An Alabama witness driving along I-459 at the Morgan Road exit near Hoover reported watching a black triangle UFO hovering over a bridge, according to testimony in Case 61566 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. An image of bizarre "alien" structures heading to the surface of Mars might be exciting enough for UFO enthusiasts. But according to a UFO blog, one picture might just be cause for some extra speculation since it features an "alien skull" on the Red Planet. Images of the so-called skull, some of which have been digitally altered to prove the specifics, were posted by UFO Sightings Daily on Wednesday. Originally, the images were captured by NASA's Mars Spirit rover at the Gusev Crater. While most critics will argue that the structure in the image is most likely a rock which somewhat appears to look like a skull in the Martian soil, the blog claims otherwise, even going as far as digitally adding "teeth and [a] lower nostril bone" to show how the specifics could fit in, Epoch Times reported. "Right away this object in the photo just grabs you. An alien skull with the jaw bone missing or buried below it," the blog posted on Wednesday. "You can make out the nasal cavity and the two eye sockets without any trouble. You can even make out the ridge above the eye sockets." "It's hard to believe that the rover just passes on by without a second look, but hey, they are not there to discover life, but actually there to distract humanity and show an effort. This way...satisfying human curiosity. Are you...satisfied? I'm not." The image, which fails to show the other side of the halfway buried object, has been around since 2010. It was first uploaded by a YouTube user, who added his own digital features later on in a video to make it look like a skull for comparative purposes. However, observers still remain skeptical. "The human mind is a curious thing, after hundreds of thousands of years of developing in groups, the first thing even subconsiously, is facial recognition (sic)," wrote one person. "If you allow your mind to wander it's possible to see faces in everything. I can clearly make out a raccoons head also (sic)."

CARBONDALE—Inside the Best Western Pioneer Plaza in Carbondale, there was an extra special, extra-terrestrial party and some dressed up for the occasion. “This was an impulse, this was to keep the lore going and a little humor, ” said Buckie Hosie of Carbondale. Airline Passenger Films UFO Flying Over Iran

A passenger on board a commercial airliner has caught some astonishing footage of a disc-shaped UFO flying underneath their plane. New UFO Seen In NASA Space Station Video, 2nd UFO Image In 4 Weeks — What’s Going On Up There?

A UFO appeared in the NASA video feed from the International Space Station on Sunday, November 3 — the second time in four weeks that the NASA feed has captured what appears to be a UFO, or some sort of unexplained visual anomaly, in the vicinity of the space station that has been orbiting the Earth continuously since 1998. The UFO sighting came one day after the 14th anniversary of the first human crew arriving to man the space station. The ISS has been occupied by American, Russian and international astronauts continuously since November 2, 2000. On October 7, NASA broadcast video of a space walk by two of space station’s current occupants as they did some routine repairs on the exterior of the spacecraft. At one point in the video, a UFO — literally, an unidentified object — appeared in the distance, against the blackness of space behind one of the astronauts.
